Rigoni di Asiago sold a minority stake (42.7%) to Kharis Capital, while the Rigoni family continued as majority shareholder. The transaction enabled Fondo Italiano di Investimento (Neuberger Berman) to divest its shares in Rigoni di Asiago, held since 2012.

Rigoni di Asiago, founded by the Rigoni family as a beekeeping business and now managed by the third generation, is the leading Italian producer of jams (brand Fiordifrutta) and one of the main players for spreadable creams (brand Nocciolata) and honey. Exclusively derived from organic farming, the raw materials are partly grown on group farms. In 2017, Rigoni achieved a consolidated turnover of more than € 120m.

Kharis Capital is a long-term financial investor based in Brussels, specializing in the BTC industry with expertise in the organic segment.

The transaction also involved the subscription of a capital increase to support the international development of Rigoni di Asiago.

Corus acted as financial advisor to the Rigoni family, in the buyer research, structuring of the transaction, negotiation, throughout the implementation including binding agreements with Kharis Capital.
