The shareholders of Panificio San Francesco sold a majority stake to the private equity fund Finint & Partners (now Itago).

Founded in 2006 and based in Codevilla (Pavia), Panificio San Francesco is one of the main Italian private label producers of pre-cooked frozen industrial bread for supermarkets. In 2017 the company achieved a turnover of about € 20m and a gross operating margin of around 20%.

The transaction enabled Panificio San Francesco to reorganize its shareholder structure and to gather financial and managerial resources to support plans for future growth, including a significant expansion of the production capacity.

Corus assisted the shareholders of Panificio San Francesco in structuring the sales process, from the selection of the buyer to the negotiation and binding agreements with Finint & Partners.
